Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Vowora Wedding Planner collects, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written to follow Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). The planner is run by Awans Design Solutions, who is responsible for the information described here. See also our Terms of Service.

1. What we collect

  • When you buy: your name, email address and phone number, and the fact and date of your payment. We do not receive or store your bank or card details. Those stay with ToyyibPay and your bank.
  • Your account: your email address and your password. Your password is stored in a scrambled form that we cannot read. We also record when you last signed in.
  • What you enter in the planner: your and your partner’s names, ages, dates of birth and phone numbers, your wedding date, venue, theme and budget, your vendors, your checklist, your wedding-day schedule, and your guest list with names, phone numbers, notes and replies.
  • Guest replies: when a guest uses your RSVP link, we receive the name, number of people, reply and any meal choice or message they type. Guests do not need an account.
  • Help and feedback: the messages you send through the Help page, the email you give us for a reply, and the page you came from.
  • Anonymous visit counts: when you open our home page, the demo or the Buy page without being signed in, we add one to a daily counter. We do not store your IP address, your name or any identifier. A small note in your browser’s storage stops the same browser being counted twice on the same day.

2. Why we use it

  • to sell you the planner, confirm your payment and give you access;
  • to run the planner for you and your partner, show your information back to you, and keep it safe;
  • to answer your questions and fix problems;
  • to understand how many people use the planner and improve it. We only look at totals, such as how many accounts exist and how many visits there were;
  • to keep the records the law asks us to keep, such as accounting records.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who can see your information

  • You, and the partner you invite. A partner can see and change everything in that wedding.
  • Us. We can see your name, email address and phone number, your payment and purchase date, your partner’s email address if you invite one, when you last used the planner, your Help and Feedback messages, and the totals for the whole planner. We use this to run the shop, answer you and manage accounts that have reached their time limit. We do not read your guest list, budget or schedule, and we only look at them if you ask us for help or the law requires it.
  • Service providers who help us run the planner. They may only use the information to provide their service:
    • Supabase, which stores our database and handles sign-in;
    • our website hosting provider, which delivers the planner to your device;
    • ToyyibPay, which takes your payment.
  • Authorities, only when the law requires us to share it.

4. Storage outside Malaysia

Our service providers may keep your information on servers outside Malaysia. By using the planner, you agree to your information being handled this way. We choose providers that protect information with reasonable security.

5. Cookies

We use only the small files the planner needs to work: they keep you signed in, and remember choices such as which side of your wedding you are viewing and whether the sidebar is open. Your browser also keeps one small note a day for each public page you visit, so your visit is not counted twice. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

  • Your wedding information stays while your account is active. An account may be deleted, together with its wedding information, when it has not been used for 12 months, or 2 years after the purchase date, whichever comes first.
  • If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete it and its wedding information, apart from records we must keep by law.
  • Payment and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.
  • Help and feedback messages are kept until we no longer need them to help you or improve the planner.

7. Keeping it safe

We use sign-in protection, and each account can only see its own wedding. Passwords are scrambled, and connections to the planner are encrypted. No online service can promise perfect security, so please choose a strong password, keep it private and sign out on shared devices.

8. Your guests’ information

When you add guests, you decide what to enter. Please tell your guests, in a simple way, that you are keeping their details for your wedding, and only add what you need. If a guest asks you to remove their details, you can delete them from your Guests page.

9. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to stop using it or to delete it, and to withdraw your consent. Email us at awans.design@gmail.com from the email address on your account, and we will reply as soon as we reasonably can. You can edit most of your information yourself inside the planner.

10. Children

The planner is for adults planning a wedding. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. For a big change, we will try to tell you inside the planner or by email.
